The wind in Mondstadt always carried the scent of dandelions. Venti sat on the big tree at Windrise, plucking the strings of his lyre and humming a tune, while an apple core rolled beside his feet. Suddenly, he heard soft sobbing coming from Windwail Highland. With a light tap of his toes, he glided over on the wind.
Under a tree, a little girl named Nora was wiping her tears, clutching a wilted Cecilia flower tightly in her hand. "What's the matter? A young lady's tears can even weigh down the wind, you know." Venti landed in front of her, took off his hat, and bowed politely. Nora sniffled and said, "I wanted to pick a Cecilia flower for Mom's birthday present, but the wind on the mountain top was too strong. I didn't get the flower, and my basket got blown away too..."
Venti blinked his green-and-blue eyes, suddenly remembering the "little gadget" Lisa had slipped him the day before—a silver badge inlaid with the wing of a Windwheel Aster. "Don't worry, I have a helper who can talk to the wind." He pinned the badge to Nora's collar and blew gently on it. "This is 'Wind Whisper AI'. It can understand the wind and help us find things."
The badge suddenly lit up with a faint glow. Venti played a lively note on his lyre: "Could you help us find Nora's basket, and also point out the easiest place to pick Cecilia flowers?" The sound of the wind rustling through the treetops suddenly became clear. The light spot on the badge wobbled in one direction, and a soft prompt sound came out: "The basket is twenty steps to the southwest. The platform ahead has gentle wind, and the flowers there are the fullest~"
Nora's eyes widened in surprise. She followed the light spot and quickly retrieved her basket. When they reached the mountain-top platform, the wind there was indeed gentle, and the Cecilia flowers swayed softly in the sunlight. Venti sat aside playing his lyre, while Wind Whisper AI quietly blocked the disruptive strong winds for them. It even swept up a few glistening dewdrops and sprinkled them on the flowers, making them look even more delicate.
After picking the flowers, Nora suddenly remembered something: "Dad said we should write a poem for Mom, but I don't know how..." Venti smiled and pointed at the badge: "It also hides a little poetry magic." A faint light and shadow projected from the badge. Based on what Nora had said—"Mom likes dandelions and can make apple pies"—a few lines of poetry soon appeared: "The wind carries dandelions in a light dance, the oven holds a sweet fragrance. Mom's smile is like a Cecilia, blooming in my heart."
"That's perfect!" Nora hopped and skipped toward home. Venti waved: "Remember to tell Mom that the Anemo Archon (the God of Wind in Genshin Impact, and Venti himself is the incarnation of this god) and his little helper wish her a happy birthday~" After Nora ran far away, the glow of the badge gradually faded. Venti tucked it into his arms, took a sip of dandelion wine. The wind blew past, carrying the sound of distant laughter, and he softly hummed a new song—one that held the gentle secret of AI and the wind.
